PAWS Creations™ is committed to offering the highest levels of protection for your personal information. We use PayPal as our payment merchant account and they guard your information like a dog with a meaty bone. They fiercely protect it.

When you place your order, you should see:

  • The lock icon in your browser window.
     
  • And the URL that begins with ‘https’.

This signifies the information from addresses that begin with https is encrypted before transmission. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the shopping cart software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. The familiar “closed padlock” sign on many sites usually indicates 56-bit encryption. 128-bit encryption is many times stronger than that.

All shopping cart information including credit card information is encrypted with SSL technology (Secure Sockets Layer) in secure databases protected by a firewall. SSL technology is the standard for encrypted data transmission on the Internet between a web server and a customer.

What this means is that all your information is “encrypted” so that the only one who can “decode” and process your information is PayPal. PAWS Creations does not have access to this information, we choose not to for your protection and ours. For our customers who still prefer not to transmit their credit card information over the Internet, we also offer the option of phoning or mailing us your order.
